Education and Research regarding Liberal Arts and Fundamental Science
Foundations’ teaching staff are mainly responsible for common subjects in the area of liberal arts and fundamental science. Staff of the Education Center for International Students are also the member of Foundations.
Foundations itself does not correspond to a specific department/program. However, the faculty members of Foundations have their own specialized backgrounds and utilize them to provide improved educational outcomes. Furthermore, some members have specialized subject classes and supervise theses for graduate students: other members belong to a specific department/program and have specialized subject classes and supervise the graduation research for undergraduate students.
This homepage contains the research topics of faculty members in Foundations and introduces their backgrounds as researchers. It should help you, students, to find out what topics the teachers whom you have learned from in common subject classes are interested in and engaged in.
